Fit Friday: Mr's Get Fit Challenge.

Before the Mr. started training He and I made a deal. Since he has spent the last 5 (and still spending the next 3or so) weeks in FMTB training, I would spend my time getting fit as well. While I’m not busting ass PTing 3times a day, I’m still busting Ass with a modified P90X: Tony Horton's 90-Day Extreme Home Fitness Workout DVD Program
 workout routine. I find it a bit difficult to do all of the disk as I don’t have free weights or pull-up bars with me. So I’ve adapted it to work for me. So far, I’m doing great. I figure I will share my work out so if you’re interested you could try it too.
2mile(or Longer) walk- twice a week
Yoga- 1hr-3x a week opposite of Ab Routine
Ab Routine- 15min- 3times one week/ twice the next (alternating to “shock” so you don’t stall out. (stalling is still possible depending on personal history and etc…)
            30 In & Outs
            60 Bicycles
            25 Wide Leg sit-ups
            30 Scissors
            30 Heels to heaven
            30 Leg Climbers
50 Tummy Tucks rolls (Plank position, Alternating knee to chest, do 5 times then lay flat on floor and roll and do again.)
            50 Kayakers
           
4min Cardio Routine- 4min- Opposite day of Ab Routine before Yoga.

So far this is helping tone my abs, legs and arms. My main focus is my abs since they aren’t what they once were due to unhealthy Eating habits and Miss Venom. My goal is to tone everywhere as well. I don’t do very well with the same daily routine as I get bored very easily which is why the “shock” method from P90x works well for me. You aren’t just doing the same routine day in and day out so it keeps your body on its toes and working different section each day. 

NOTE: Before the masses decide to leave hateful comments about my routine. I am fully aware that this may not work for everyone. Nor am I recommending everyone try it. As always consult your doctor about any workout you may consider especially if it’s a HIGH impact and intense routine like P90X or Insanity or if you have Health problems. I’m not held responsible for your choice to follow any advice found on the internet on a Blog of all places. My goal is to inspire others to maintain a healthy lifestyle with eating right and proper fitness regimes.

Something More.

Being without constant internet access is both a blessing and a curse. While its amazing for my creative self, its also not so great as its difficult to get things posted. I only have a simple phone for now and can't post from it (the Ipod needs Wifi; which I don't have unless I'm else were). While I have my Laptop and Netbook (plus Mr.'s) Its difficult to juggle them and Miss Venom to go write. So this all leaves me wanting something more. I wish this blog was more than it currently is. I know that like the 5 people that read this probably could careless at these constant babbles about things to be done. I do truely mean it I want this to be more. THe same with SewAnnaButton Designs. I'm drafting out the wazoo. I have 2 women's dresses done and 1 new little girl's design. I need to Photograph one of the Ladies dresses and the little girls dress tomorrow so I can edit them and hopefully list them on the FaceBook store front. My camera is currently charging so I cant snap pics just yet.

This & That: Vintage Nautical

Over the last few months I've gone through a style transformation. I've started changing my wardrobe from the band tees to colored fitted tees and cardigans, from jeans to more skirts and dresses. Here a a few of my favorite Items as of right now.

LACE MAXI'S- I'm really loving the coverage these give. Having Venom running everywhere leads to not always being as ladylike as I want. Pair this with a Cardigan and you have an outfit fit for cool summer nights or spring/fall weddings.

STATEMENT JEWELRY- I have a Mom ring and a pink mustache ring I wear on a regular bases. I also have vintage costume jewelry that I wear, when not Packed away....   

Skirts and Khakis!- I've been making more skirts for myself to wear. And I got my first pair of Bermudas a few weeks ago.

Extended Vacation......Ish.

So here I am on my "extended vacation" If it could actually be called that. The Mister is in Training and Miss Venom and I are trying to function with out him. Its very very lonely. She does the cutest things when she's missing him though. Like Kiss his picture and Pretent to talk on the Phone with him. She is such a Dada's girl. Things with me have been slightly busy since I'm teaching a 2part sewing class this month. Theres also been lots of play dates with friends and family. AND Sewing lots and lots of sewing.
